Volunteer
Get your hands in the soil. Connect with nature. Be part of something growing.

At Raven Place Farm, we believe good things grow when people, nature and community come together.
Nestled in the beautiful countryside of Clothiers Creek, just inland from the Tweed Coast, Raven Place is a regenerative farm and Japanese-inspired food van café built around a simple idea, creating a place where food, farming and community can thrive together.
We welcome people who share a curiosity for growing food, herbs and flowers, seasoned experts, garden enthusiasts, those who love caring for the land and being part of something meaningful.
Whether you love gardening, want to learn more about regenerative farming, enjoy working outdoors or simply want to contribute your time and energy, there is a place for you here.
Come and grow with us.

Volunteer at Raven Place
Volunteering at Raven Place is an opportunity to get involved in the everyday life of a working regenerative farm.
Our farm is constantly evolving. From tending the garden and harvesting seasonal produce to caring for the soil and supporting our circular food system, there is always something happening.
Depending on the season, projects and your interests, volunteering may include:
-
Helping in the vegetable garden with planting, harvesting and general garden maintenance
-
Gathering herbs, flowers and seasonal produce
-
Preparing garden beds and caring for the soil
-
Learning about composting, mulch and regenerative farming practices
-
Supporting our food forest and biodiversity projects
-
Helping with farm projects and general upkeep
-
Being part of our efforts to reduce waste and make the most of what the farm produces
NB: No heavy lifting, no machinery work, no digging involved.
Every contribution helps us continue building a farm that nourishes people, supports nature and strengthens our local community.
You don't need to be an experienced gardener. A willingness to learn, lend a hand and enjoy being outdoors is a great place to start.
CURRENT VOLUNTEER TIMES:
WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY
9-11AM
Followed by lunch and a drink to enjoy at Raven Place or take home.

More Than a Farm
Raven Place is about creating a different relationship with food, farming and the environment.
We believe the land should be cared for, not simply worked. That means looking beyond what we grow today and considering how our choices contribute to a healthier ecosystem tomorrow.
Our approach includes:
-
Regenerative farming
-
Building healthy soil, growing seasonal produce and working with nature rather than against it.
-
A circular food system. Making the most of what we have. From kitchen scraps returning to the farm to spent cooking tallow finding another purpose, we believe resources should be valued rather than wasted.
-
Biodiversity: Creating habitat for native bees, owls, microbats and other wildlife that contribute to a thriving farm ecosystem.
-
Food with provenance: Growing, making and sharing food with a connection to the land, the season and the people behind it.
-
Community: Creating a place where people can connect, share knowledge, contribute and experience the value of working together.
When you volunteer at Raven Place, you become part of this bigger picture.
