Raven Place Eggs
Welcome to Raven Place, where we raise happy and healthy pasture-raised hens. We have found it very hard to find a balance between free-range hens and foxes and have taken a step back in egg production to sell, and transitioned into growing our coloured egg laying heritage breeds. We sell day old chicks.
Our hens safety at the forefront, they now are in mobile chicken caravans. Our hens are secure yet still get to forage for insects and bugs on a new patch of the farm daily. We take pride in our fermented food in the cafe and also ferment our chicken feed to ensure optimal gut health for our chickens. Our eggs are known as 'power eggs' as our chickens love to eat Kimchi too.

Feed
We supplement our chickens naturally for optimal gut health with fermented feed, Kimchi, home made apple cider vinegar, chilli, turmeric, sea kelp and other spices. We also feed them meat for added protein.
