About the event
Join David Brooks (Wild BnB) and Rachael Sanderson (Life a Little Greener) for an immersive tour of Raven Place Farm.
Explore how we’ve combined organic bush regeneration with innovative farming practices to restore biodiversity. Learn how we use mycelium to kill woody weeds while planting native trees and plants around it, so as the old trees die, we can harvest edible native mushrooms and give the natives time to establish and grow.
See firsthand our owl boxes (which can eat up to 8 rats a night), microbat boxes (consuming around 1,200 insects per hour), and native bee hives, nature’s allies for organic pest control and pollination.
Discover practical ways to integrate regenerative practices into your own farm, garden, or property, while supporting wildlife and building a resilient ecosystem.
This project is proudly supported by Tweed Shire Council’s Sustainable Agriculture Small Grants Program.
